“We are committed to helping every learner develop as a whole person, fulfil his or her potential and help shape a shared future, built on the well-being of individuals, communities and the planet”

A core aspect of Steiner education is the integration of academic learning with creativity in all its mediums. This education meets the needs of each individual academically, socially and emotionally. It develops creative thinking, self-confidence as well as practical skills for life. It further supports young people to develop healthily and grow into responsible, wise, resilient and rounded adults who respect themselves and the world in which we live.
A Steiner Secondary School
The School, will start in September 2019, with Classes Seven and Eight, which are equivalent to First and Second year in mainstream secondary education. The aim is that these classes will then extend up to Class Nine, the equivalent of Third Year in Irish mainstream . It is also the intention to work towards offering a creative Transition Year Programme, both for our own students and to others from outside schools. Like our fellow Steiner Secondary schools, we will welcome enrolment from overseas students in the worldwide Steiner Community who may join us for a term or a year of their Secondary Education.
Subjects
Subjects will include: English, Maths, Irish, European Languages, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), History, Geography, Music, Physical Exercise, Drama, Arts, Project Work, Various Crafts (e.g. Woodwork, Basket Weaving Ceramics) and more.
